Does anyone know what it's saying? I can't understand it.

Despite being familiar with the expression, for grins & giggles I looked up the origin ... just something I like to do... I know my childhood had a heavy British influence, but is that phrase as uncommon in the States as they make it sound?

I happened to have a bunch of people over last week and at some point I just asked really loudly "Who here has never heard the expression 'Sticky wicket?'"
