That's a tough one for me... but then I guess that's why I work here   I love digging up the old bumps that no one remembers. It's like when I was a kid, my mom had all these photo albums that we'd go through all the time. Then there was the precious cigar box - it was filled with the photos we never looked at - I loved going through it. And the first bump that came to mind was an old Blue Gender bump that I probably don't have anymore because I remember taping over the BG tape when I decided I just really hated the show. :(

I'm sure that everyone will agree that it's too hard to pick just one.  I'll try to just pick two.

I have a special attachment to the "You Could Be Here" Bump.  I remember taking note of it when I first started watching A.S. in 2003/2004.  It reminds me of a small, rural town in late Summer.  It's like the town I'm from.  It takes me back to some late Summer nights, that I spent with friends, watching A.S.  The track, "Slite Delite", is intoxicating and comes from the Extreme Music Production Library.  I can't believe that A.S. used a logo from Extreme's site in the bump!  I'm talking about the little man on the escalator. http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/111

My other pick would have to be the "Happy Labor Day - Top Floor" bump from Labor Day Weekend 2006.  I remember that my friends and I were all startled by the glitch in the video and audio.  J-Dilla laid down a lovely loop on this track.  I actually have all of the cuts that Dilla used on his "Donuts" album unmixed!  He used a lot of rare 70's Soul groove. http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/232

I was upset when A.S. didn't run any of the Labor Day bumps last year. :-(  What's up with that?

Wow, that's a real hard one! I agree, it's really hard to pick just one, so I'll go with an older and a newer one. I really like most of the bumps, but I kinda have an attachment to the one-time or limited-run stuff. My favorite non-posted bump will have to be Kill Your Feet  :-P, but I really like the Parking Lot bump: http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/249 It just came out of nowhere and left me wondering what it was. Of the newer ones, I would have to say the Animated Philosophy http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/505 bump really cracked me up. Love the instructional video look, and it's quite funny. And yeah, I was missing the Labor Day stuff last year! Great question with this one, kimmie333!

But I also really like this one: http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/1248

They both make me feel nostalgic for the old [as]

Man, old school bumps ruled hard. I really like Come Along Friend http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/11 and find it to be a great example of the original [as] style for anime, and the same goes for We Are Sending You This http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/36 in a more general direction. It'd be awesome if they made more bumps like that.

I love "We Are Sending You This", Mongo.  I think that its sister bumps are "Williams Street Of The Future" http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/32, I'm really upset about the "Unknown" track on that one because I'm almost certain that I heard it somewhere at APM, "AS Subway" http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/47, "Shoot The Freak" http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/51,  and "Vibe Units" http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/74.  I really miss seeing "Vibe Units" on Saturday Nights.  I loved the bump lineup that was goin' on two or three years ago on Saturdays.  They had "Vibe Units", The Psyche Origami/Tokyo Bumps, and some Wild Child cuts thrown in on bumps like "Old Woman with the Spider Head" (correct title?), and "Something Awesome" (is about to happen).  I'm sorry for getting off subject with this post.  I hope that others come forth and talk about a couple of their favorite bumps.  It's interesting seeing what people choose.

Oh man, I know what you mean, they had a really awesome bump lineup. I miss that, it made Saturdays feel special, kinda like a small trip down memory lane with all the Tokyo bumps. And yeah, it's very interesting for me as well to see the picks, there's a lotta good to choose from  :-P. Fun 4 Adults!! Damn, yeah, that one is real awesome  :-D.

Baggage Room or that one with Madlib - "Collie And Beer" on it (idk the actual name of it)

Ooo FMA Balloons v2, that's a real cool one. Baggage Room's real cool, it's a great beat and a really nice, different concept. The b&w-to-color thing took me by surprise when I first saw it, in the best way possible.  :-D
