Looking for the music (or the card cap itself) to a B&W card which played on April 25th during Cowboy Bebop, Ep. 25.  It played about 15 min into my recording.  I believe it was a Dear Adult Swim.  They cut to commercial right after Julia sped away leaving Faye behind and the first thing to play was the card if I remember correctly.  Watched it l8 night and told myself to remember not to delete it but my dumb ass forgot the next day and deleted it anyway.

Really appreciate any help, I've been killin myself tryin to find it on all sortsa sites.  Thanks!

Have you tried typing April 19th on the search? Maybe it's one we have around here, hopefully. I don't have the recording from that night anymore but if you remember what the card was about maybe I could have it around here on a weekday recording or something. Numy might know, too. I hope you find the song!

I've looked all over this site and others but no joy.  I've pretty much looked @ all posts one week before and everything after the 25th.  Unfortunately, even though I paused the card to read what it was sayin (they always switch the text too fast for me. haha) I still can't remember what it said except that I'm pretty sure it started out Dear Adult Swim (not that that narrows it down very much).  Even worse I can't really remember what the song sounded like just know it was awesome.  After going through all sorts of other caps and all the free music off the adult swim site tryin to find it my brain's like a slushy of music.

I have to apologize for letting the weekly listings fall so far behind, but I'll see if I can track this down.... it doesn't look good, though. My handwritten notes from that week only show two "Dear [adult swim]" bumps - one is a library track and the other was unknown  :|

Well, this is awkward  :|
Both of the Dear [as] bumps were during that break :P but if you're right about it being the first one here it is:

While I have yet to see ANY proof that there is a legal version of this song available, I've had enough people try to tell me I'm wrong that it's always my first challenge to them - find a legal outlet and I'll believe them. What that does tell me is there are PLENTY of files floating around the internet with some combination of "Mambo Gallego" "D-Code" and "Remix" in the title.

Let's see if I can give you the short version  [as] acquired the track from Extreme Music where it was listed as "D-Code" by Dust Devil. So far it appears to be a unique version of the song originally composed by Tito Puente entitled "Mambo Gallego." The version known as "D-Code" is no longer available from Extreme.
Theories: The timing of the disappearance has led me to believe that the makers of "In the Groove" (a DDR style game) are responsible for buying "D-Code" out of the library.  I believe Dust Devil to be a store front for a group of people who deal in the production of library music but do not handle the distribution/licensing end of the business.

One day I'm going write an essay on this with a list of "prove me wrong" challenges. Maybe we'll get to the bottom of it :P

LOL, I don't know how they can tell you you're wrong w/out any proof.  But whatever the case may be I'm just happy to have found the music.  That's exactly the bump & song. Thanks, you're awesome Numy!  It's funny because in my searches I saw the phrase D-Code but didn't know it was the song I was looking for and so skipped past it.  What I'm looking for is always right in front of my face, D'oh!  :-D :-D
