You know the guy who made the song "Sure" on the album Continental Electro which is played in this bump? http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/1816

You all know that his songs can be found at SakuraNotes. But what confuses me is that his name doesn't sound very japanese and the music doesn't either (please don't get on me about the music comment, you know what I mean). So my question is, who is this guy (or gal)? Do they live in japan? Do they have a website or facebook or anything? Any pictures?

I don't know if there is any public presence (it's not unusual for production music composers to be low profile) but the site that is the 'home' for those tracks is actually French. Sakura Notes is just one of possibly several libraries that currently have these tunes 'on consignment' if you will.

Yep, very true. A library music composer can license his music on many different labels depending on territory. The album was released on French label Axs Music, so it sounds like he must be French given the label's location.

If anyone is wondering why I chose to link Sakura instead of Ax's it's because their guest browsing UI is the second worst ever...

Thanks for the info and mentioning that site. They have a pretty good variety of music there. The only thing I have a problem with is all of that orange in the background. They need to re-do their color scheme.

You can avoid it by using SakuraNotes. In the left column you can click on AXS - they have 273 of their albums now. APMmusic also has a some AXS - after you click 'launch my APM' and it fully loads click on 'Libraries & Cover Art' in the left column. That will expand and you can then choose AXS, they have 356 albums.

Another downside is the bitrate of the music, some of them are as low as 16kbs - seriously. I wasn't able to discern the sample rate but it is audibly bad. It sounds like they may have improved on some of the newer offerings but they didn't go back and fix the old stuff. The positive I can give them is they do let you listen to entire tracks, unlike some places that limit you to 30 seconds or won't grant any browsing for guests.  :|
